SPL (Steady Picking Location)

Being based on the innovation of SVL handling systems, the SPL solution is especially recommended when picking volumes are medium (≤ 4,000 packages/h), the managed codes (SKU) are ≥ 300, but in particular where picking is ≥ 8÷10 packages per order position. This solution is mainly integrated in a travelling lifting unit automatic warehouse and is configured as a set of "working stations" (picking stations), highly ergonomic and equipped with picking aiding tools, weighing scales, lifting platforms and PC working places.

By fully exploiting the concept of goods-to-man, the stored pallets or those placed in temporary stations are quickly conveyed and sorted to the different picking areas, sequentially, according to the different FIFO/LIFO criteria, the possible stacking classes, the reverse picking system, etc... The customer's pallet is then arranged and automatically reintroduced in the warehouse, ready for shipment.

Picking operations are thus extremely rationalised, with a remarkable increase of operators' performance, improvement of working conditions, reduction of errors and of order arrangement times.
